The detective and the actor Jeremy Brett se trouvait seul  dans son bureau. Soudain, il sentit une présence dans la pièce. Il sentit une odeur de pipe. De la fumée se diffusa dans l'air. Lentement, Jeremy Brett se leva. Il savait qu'il n'était plus seul. Plissant légèrement les yeux, il vit une silhouette étrangement familière. Une voix qu'il sembla avoir entendue depuis toujours résonna jusqu'à ses oreilles. "Ce sera très bien. Je dois dire que je suis surpris. Je ne m'attendais pas à une telle ressemblance".

Un homme était assis dans un fauteuil, tenant une pipe. Jeremy Brett ne pouvait distinguer son The detective and the actor by ~Polichet

"C'est moi qui doit vous remercier, Monsieur Brett. Vous m'avez redonné vie et vous avez fait reconnaître mes talents de détective à tout un autre siècle." Jeremy lui rendit son sourire, jumeau au sien. Il avait l'impression de se contempler dans un miroir et de voir une autre image de lui-mThe detective and the actor (2) by ~Polichet
The detective and the actor (3) Le détective parut lire dans ses pensées. "Rassurez-vous, Monsieur Brett. Je ne vais pas m'évanouir en fumée et je ne suis pas le fruit de votre imagination." Jeremy fut soulagé. "Avouez quand même, Monsieur Holmes, que c'est bien étrange.", argumenta Jeremy pour sa défense. "Vous surgissez comme cela en plein milieu de la nuit. Il y a de quoi être étonné". Jeremy faisait de son mieux pour châtier son langage. Son anglais lui paraissait vulgaire. Sherlock Holmes l'observa tranquillement. Jeremy ne pouvait s'empêcher d'admirer le sang-froid dont il faisait preuve et le charisme qThe detective and the actor (3) by ~Polichet

I almost can't believe this is a thing...
He has to be one of the best Sherlock Holmes ever!

Though I can't help thinking he seems a little more like "Count Holmes" at times... I mean, aren't them vampires and such supposed to be more smarty-pants than the average fella?

Anyway, I'm glad to see Jeremy Brett celebrated in this fashion!

i ama so happy to have seen him on screen - sadly never live - hard from germany.
anyways, i met jeremy as Sherlock, and to me he was Holmes in perfection from what i read in the S.A.C. Doyle books.
I joind this group just to show my love and admiring for this actor.
rest in Peace - i know you do!
